October 2005
The 2006 Online Handbook has now been published.
It provides the latest information on approved programs, plans and courses to be offered at UNSW in 2006 and includes comprehensive details about program content and structure, course and elective choices, attendance patterns, and unit of credit requirements.
Class timetable information for Summer Semester 2006 can also be viewed via the Online Handbook. Class timetable information for Semester 1 and Semester 2 2006 offerings will be published from the 11 November 2005.

May 16, 2005
UNSW programs, plans and course information updating for the 2006 Online Handbook commenced today. The 2006 Online Handbook will be published on the 30th September, 2005.

April 18, 2005
Following Council approval, the School of Optometry and Vision Science in the Faculty of Science will commence the five-year Bachelor of Optometry Bachelor of Science ( 3952 )from Semester 1, 2006. Program rules and information will be viewable online from 1st October 2005.

February 1, 2005
The Academic Board made a resolution affecting the number of Units Of Credit required to complete Postgraduate Coursework programs in Sports Medicine offered by the Faculty of Medicine. As a result, the Online Handbook entries for the Master of Sports Medicine ( 9055 ) and the Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine ( 5503 ) were updated to reflect these changes.

November 18, 2004
Important development work is currently being undertaken on the handbook search application, which may impact on its performance, and the validity of its results. We expect this work to be complete by mid-December. If you are experiencing difficulties finding content, please contact the appropriate faculty or school for assistance. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
