Description

This course aims both to provide an overview of current concepts in sexual and reproductive health in the Asia Pacific region and to develop skills necessary to conduct policy relevant research in the region. The course will consist of: lectures and plenary sessions on safe motherhood, HIV/AIDS, prevention of sexually transmitted diseases, contraceptive technologies, sexual health and gender and health; case studies of current programs and initiatives; and skills sessions in quantitative and qualitative research methods relevant to sexual and reproductive health.
