Description

Research in the School of BABS covers the span of fundamental through to applied research in areas such as bacteriology, virology, genetics, cell biology, genomics, proteomics, immunology, environmental microbiology and bioprocessing. This course aims to expose students in the Masters of Philosophy program to this diversity through attendance at the School postgraduate and invited speaker seminar programs. Students will prepare an indexed list of abstracts based on attendance and in addition, prepare a mini-review paper on at least one of the topics covered in the research seminar program.
