Description

Emphasises multifaceted approaches to stress management research and practice. Evaluation of various stress management procedures. Includes cognitive, behavioural and transactional models. Discusses applications in different social settings and developmental stages. Examines the role of the educator/manager as a helper, and evaluates global and specific prevention programmes, crisis management, emotional competence training, and recent developments in dealing with different types of anxiety and tension.
