This course, which is only offered in program 5535 (Graduate Diploma (Research) in Optometry) comprises the second phase of a two-phase research project, and will be conducted by the student under the supervision of a member of academic staff at the School. The project must be conducted on campus (cannot be conducted in a distance-learning format). This phase of the project consists of data collection and analysis, using methodology devised during the prerequisite course (Research A), preparation of a written report (approximately 20,000 words in total) of the research (Research A and Research B) and an oral presentation of the study. Research B must be taken in the session immediately after Research A.
