Description

This course enhances students' understanding of different approaches to leading and managing at different levels in a healthcare organisation and provides tools to approach management problems in the context of major changes in society and the health workforce. Topics include managing diversity, assessing and improving worker performance, motivating professionals, workplace conflict, designing work, introducing technology, ethical and managerial aspects of employment law such as unfair dismissal and "whistle-blowing."
