Description

This course will explore the principles and practices of community development with specific reference to Aboriginal communities and community controlled organisations. It will look at the historical contexts for the emergence of Aboriginal community controlled organisations and their contemporary relationship with and obligations to Aboriginal communities as well as the impact of government policies on their operation and programs.
