Description

This course covers advanced techniques in securities valuation. Topic includes discounted cash flow analysis, relative valuation approaches, quantitative analysis, and an introduction to the valuation of financial and real options. The class is a blend of normative theory, empirical evidence, and practical application. An essential component involves the use of software programs (e.g. MS-Excel and/or SAS) in applying theory to identify security mispricing in a real-world environment.
