Description

This course provides introduction to the central concepts and issues of project management and the practical benefits of project planning and management. It includes practical sessions in project planning and the use of a computer based management tool. Additional topics include customer focus, lifecycle customisation, work packages, progress monitoring, risk evaluation, quality management, people skills, and negotiation skills. Case studies and practical examples of software development projects will be used throughout the course.
