Description

The goal of this course is to expose students to basic infrastructure for building web-based ecommerce applications. It discusses web application development techniques and enabling technologies including CGI scripts, remote method invocation, servlets, JSPs, Web access to databases, programmatic access to XML documents. The lecture materials will be complemented by several assignments and labs.
Excluded: COMP9316, and COMP9031 if taken prior to 2006. It's ok to take both COMP9031 and COMP9321 from 2006 onwards.
