Description

A course aimed at developing advanced experimental techniques. A selection of laboratory experiments will be completed in areas including: chaotic motion, high temperature superconductivity, semiconductors, electron and tunneling microscopy, X-ray and electron diffraction, laser physics and holography, optical fibre technology, Fourier optics and transform spectroscopy, magnetic measurement techniques and resonance imaging, electromagnetic waves and waveguides, nuclear counting techniques and neutron activation, vacuum techniques.
