Description

This course provides students with the opportunity to investigate models of design management in conjunction with branding and identity programs. Students develop skills such as design auditing, brief development, client management and design communication techniques. Case study analysis and simulation are used to apply design management processes to project management, innovation and commercialisation scenarios. The management goals in both commercial and institutional environments are also explored as an integral part of responsible design and manufacture in the Australian and global context.

To undertake this course students should have completed, or have one of the following:

SDES6770 Design Management: Developing Design Cultures
Knowledge and skills in design management
Or equivalent
