Description

This course aims to address the ways in which your digital literacy practices impact and influence the way you interact, use language and express yourself. It introduces relevant theories from pedagogy and learning, multiliteracies and media studies to explain questions relevant to our everyday relationship with digital media and its role in teaching and learning. You will have the opportunity to analyse on-line interaction, both in the classroom and outside of it. Throughout the semester, you will do a project in which you analyse your own on-line interaction and develop a teaching lesson plan incorporating digital literacy practices.
