Description

This course focuses on Australian and international approaches to the education of children of high intellectual potential. It explores specific concepts of giftedness ranging from an analysis of its historical and cultural roots to an examination of the current focus on domains and levels of giftedness, and the academic, social and/or emotional needs of gifted children, including the implications for teaching strategies and school organisational structures which assist or impede the full development of high potential.
