Description

This course offers students a mature foundation in how economists see and think about the world. It then shows how conceptual frameworks and tools of analysis in economics can be used to generate insight into and understanding of contemporary economic, political and social issues, events and policies.

Learning Outcomes

At the conclusion of this course, you should be able to:

1. Understand the fundamentals of how economists see and seek to interpret the world;

2. Use economic thinking to obtain enhanced insights into real-world events; and

3. Use economic thinking to gain a deeper understanding of the foundations for learning in management study.

You are expected to achieve these outcomes in accord with the codes of ethics and behaviour endorsed by the UNSW.
