Description

This course covers all aspects of managing a project in the Department of Defence and the Public Sector generally. This includes, project definition and scoping, cost and quality planning, managing the risk, financial and legal aspects of the project, and completing the project. In doing so, the Defence specific project management approach is compared with and contrasted against the more commonly used Project Managment Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) system. The course provides students with the opportunity to develop an understanding of project management principles and practices.
