Description

This course will enable students to make systemic decisions with risk. It covers the principles and practices that can be used by managers to maintain control of their operations. Students will be able to use these practices to prepare a Risk Study that justifies the design of the response to the risks in a socio-technical system within an organization. Of particular concern are the effects of uncertainty upon the dependability, including the security, of information systems.



The course will provide some of the following Level 6 skills described in the Skills for the Information Age (SFIA v5): Business Risk Management; Benefits management; Requirements Definition and management; Business analysis; andChange implementation planning and management.
