Description

This course offers knowledge and skills essential for managing building construction projects, from feasibility study, design management, tendering, contract administration, time management, cost management, quality management, safety management, material and plant management, as well as customer relationship management. Students will be exposed to the realities of involvement as project managers with large construction projects. This course is structured around lectures focused on the common construction industry sectors using case studies to illustrate the theory of construction project management. Assessment is based on both individual and group work.
