Description

This course will introduce students to a range of classroom - based research approaches, methods and techniques in education and to provide them with the opportunity to explore small-scale problems in assessment, teaching and learning in their own educational context. Topics include the selection and justification of a research problem, different approaches, methods and techniques used in classroom -based research in education, the process of data collection and analysis, the role of the teacher-researcher and common issues and concerns.
