Description

This course is for students enrolled in the Master of Applied Linguistics who wish to gain a pathway to Higher Degree Research. The course is a prerequisite for LING5033 Thesis Writing 2 in Applied Linguistics. In this course you will conduct the preliminary steps of your research project under the direction of an individual supervisor. You will be required to write a research proposal, apply for ethics clearance, and commence the collection of your data. You will also make a progress report in the form of an oral presentation.
