Description

Computer-aided design and manufacturing (CAD/CAM) is vital for industry and the future of product development. MANF9543 teaches not only the theory but also the practical skills to design using CAD and manufacture using CAM. The School operates a number of CAD/CAM platforms, specifically SolidWorks, SolidCam and Catia. The course teaches all the essential steps that one takes to develop a product from concept to manufacture starting with CAD, and progressing to simulation and CAM.
