Description

Critical urban projects from Australia and overseas are presented and analysed in order to assess the validity of their objectives and the effectiveness of their development processes, together with their design qualities and contribution to the public realm, the culture of the city and the welfare of its citizens. The object is to demonstrate through practical examples how major projects are conceived, financed, designed and built. The success or failure of projects now operational will be assessed on social, economic, environmental and aesthetic grounds.
