Description

Workforce planning directly impacts organisational productivity and outcome through the process of systematically forecasting the future demand and supply of the employees and how to best deploy their skills in order to support the strategic development of the organisation. It needs to ensure not only that the organisation able to achieve its current goals, but is also going to be ready for anticipated changes over time. The subject, which is designed for middle managers includes: the context for workforce planning, how it is used as a strategic tool, the principles of workforce supply and demand, how to integrate capacity building and skills into workforce planning and the impact of workforce planning on other system elements such as diversity and flexibility.
