Description

In this course, you will learn the critically important skill of identifying gifted and talented students so that appropriate educational experiences can be provided. The key issues in the identification of gifted and talented students will be examined with a focus on subjective and objective measures of identification and multiple criteria approaches and the domains of giftedness by which students can be identified. Particular attention will be given to the recognition of different levels of giftedness, and to the identification of high potential in minority and disadvantaged groups.
