Description

Enrolment requires course convenor approval. This course is for students enrolled in the Master of Applied Linguistics, Master of Interpreting and Translation, Master of Interpreting, or Master of Translation who wish to gain a pathway to Higher Degree Research or who wish to add an empirical research component to their coursework studies. The course is a prerequisite for LING5033 Thesis Writing 2.

In this course you will conduct the preliminary steps of a research project under the direction of an individual supervisor. You will be required to write a review of literature that leads to preparing a formal research proposal. You will apply for ethics approval.
