Description

This course aims to provide a conceptual understanding and practical competencies in career planning and management for a successful career and life. A foundational premise of this course is that career management skills can and should be learned and routinely exercised. Topics covered include career success, fit, self-insight, career capital, career exploration, career enactment, networking, persuasion, negotiation, time management, career resilience, and job search. Based upon rigorous research regarding the ingredients for a successful, fulfilling career, this highly practical course will guide you to explore and apply a range of careers concepts, techniques, and tools in the service of the ongoing, proactive management of your career.
