Stream Outline

This specialisation is aimed at public health students and professionals interested in learning the skills required to apply and/or understand health economic evaluations in their future careers and those wishing to begin the transition to a career in heath economics in the healthcare sector.

Stream Structure

To meet the requirements students must complete:

A. Eight core MPH/MHM and Health Economic Evaluation stream defining courses (48 units of credit)
PLUS

B. Three courses (18 units of credit) from recommended health economic-related electives including:
PLUS

C. One more elective from any of the (6 units of credit) courses offered by the SPHCM; Internship or a project in a Health Economic Evaluation-related topic:
The revised stream structure and list of electives will be available to students currently enrolled in the Health Economic Evaluation Stream. Students who enrolled prior to Semester 1, 2016, will also be allowed to complete courses previously listed as Health Economic Evaluation electives.
