Program Description

The Graduate Diploma in Digital Media is suitable for graduates wishing to extend their professional qualifications with a short period of study and those wishing to broaden or change directions in their professional endeavours or who have been admitted under Qualifications Rule 2.2, which allows entry with professional qualifications.

The Graduate Diploma in Digital Media allows for intensive study in one of the two areas - Computer Animation or Sound and Image. Over two semesters, students are introduced to the development of media based studio projects utilising digital technologies.

Program Structure

Students must complete eight courses over either two semesters full-time or four semesters part-time study. These courses must include four prescribed core courses, two approved theory electives and two approved studio electives.

Candidates with a minimum of credit average may upgrade to the Master of Digital Media, with full credit for courses completed.
