Stream Outline

This program involves a minimum of 1.5 years full-time study. It develops knowledge and critical understanding of sustainable resource use and management, including the socio-economic, political, cultural and institutional conditions in which environmental policy and management decisions are made.

Students are given an opportunity to gain advanced knowledge of interdisciplinary frameworks and tools to address environmental challenges, and how to enhance environmental management in the context of environmental, economic and social development.

Stream Structure

Students undertake advanced coursework and supervised research leading to the production of the thesis. The coursework includes 18 – 24 UOC of courses selected from the following, in consultation with a student’s supervisor:
