Description

This course is an introduction to the discipline of furniture design and will give students the foundation necessary to become potential furniture designers . A series of lectures will give students an understanding of how design movements, trends and technological advances shaped the past 150 years of furniture design. Through challenging design projects students will learn to apply ergonomics to the design process of furniture and develop a basic understanding of structure in relation to furniture.
