Description

Sound Media 3 allows students to further develop principles, techniques and applications of sound technology and theories that have been introduced in the previous two levels of sound courses to art practice. Comprised of lectures, a screening and listening program, individual and group work, and consultation processes, the course expands upon techniques and ideas in soundscape; sound design and sound/music scores for audio/visual works; MIDI composition, synthesis and surround sound. Students will develop and complete individual projects, across those audio strands that are relevant to their practice.
