Description

This course extends the student's experience of 3D Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) through integrated production methods.

3D CGI camera matching and advanced lighting, texture application and rendering techniques will illustrate the mixing of CGI elements with real-world photography.

The short animation format will be explored by following basic production pipeline methods including character and story creation, pitching and time management, character animation and project management techniques.

This course assumes prior knowledge of 3D CGI and builds upon the skills developed in SOMA2609 - 3D Animation and Modeling.
