This course can also be studied in the following specialisations: Australian Studies & Creative Writing

The aim of this course is to familiarise students with a wide range of contemporary literature and to encourage them to experiment with a variety of different styles and genres in their own writing.
Students undertaking this course will acquire a practical understanding of how literature works by developing their critical reading skills, and will have the opportunity to gain feedback on their own writing in a supportive workshop environment. Students will also develop the craft skills necessary to generate, revise and edit their own work.
