Description

Subject Area: Hispanic Studies

This course provides an advanced level program in Spanish language study from a communicative and task-based approach. The medium of instruction is Spanish. Students develop their listening and speaking skills through a number of different activities, as well as their reading and writing skills in Spanish. Vocabulary and grammatical structures are presented in the context of culturally relevant issues.

Topics include intercultural communication, current events and issues in the Spanish-speaking world.
