Description

This course is preparation for BLDG4502 Thesis and must be satisfactorily completed before enrolment in that course. Students are required to submit a developed thesis outline on an approved topic, including a full literature review and a justification of the proposed research methodology. The course includes a review of qualitative and quantitative research methods, advanced library and information search techniques, and research ethics. Enrolment in the course is contingent on students having an application to enrol in the course approved by the Head of Program. There are particular criteria students must meet before such application will be approved: minimum 120 uoc completed; minimum WAM of 65; acceptable topic.
