Description This course will introduce students to some of the psychological and physical characteristics of individual human functioning as factors in the design of objects, surfaces and spaces. The concepts explored will include the psychology of perception, theoretical approaches to the analysis of human behaviour, basic anatomy/biology/physiology, basic ergonomics and anthropometrics, analysis and measurements of the relationship between the human body and the design of macro and micro environments.
