Description

This course will provide students with more advanced training in the state-of- the-art software, geophysical theory and case studies. It will prepare students for honours or other advanced studies in geophysics. Topics include: seismic data inversion, geostatistics and spatial analysis, amplitude variation with offset, analysis of 4D (time lapse) data. Various geophysical processing packages will be used during the course. Students will also undertake some individual topics.
