Description

This course aims to give you an understanding of the concepts, theory, methodologies and techniques discussed in IT security. You will learn about IS vulnerabilities and threats to businesses and their IT infrastructure, the planning and management of IS security from a management and organizational perspective, and gain practical knowledge of the tools, techniques and controls for IS security management. You will undertake case study exercises using the University’s computing facilities and laboratories to provide a deep understanding of computerised security techniques used in practice.
