Description

This course aims to provide students with an introduction to the issues associated with the technology used to deploy e-business in commercial and non-commercial environments. It addresses business and technical issues that underpin selection, implementation and operation of current and modern technologies to support successful online application ventures as well as an analysis of the future trends in the field. Students are also introduced to the management issues which surround the application and use of these technologies. The course relies on the analysis of recent case organisation examples as well as a practical implementation component using some of the most widely available tools to illustrate the application of course materials.
