Description

The course provides for consolidation, application and elaboration of skills in the design and protyping/production of a unique body of ceramic work. Students extend research relevant to their individual design practice and produce a body of work which evidences a critically engaged and technically accomplished/ appropriate approach. Self-direction is encouraged so that students develop and apply their skills within the framing and articulation of the brief. Project documentation and presentation methods are expected to reflect a substantial sophistication of design ideas and communication techniques.
