Description

Fully Online Course

Information graphics are concerned with the visual display of data and consequent reading of meanings in formats such as diagrams, labels and signage. This online course focuses on the functions and theories of information design by addressing these ideas from a production and consumption perspective. It will enable students to explore and gain further understanding of information design through the investigation of methods for organising information with a direct emphasis on their application to everyday situations. At the end of this course the student will be able to develop knowledge and skills in visualising data through individual and group projects which focus on graphic investigation, application of theory and design analysis.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Students will receive course website location and log in instructions via their UNSW email account prior to the commencement of the course.
