Description

Pre-visualisation (Pre-vis) is a film making process that generates preliminary versions of shots or sequences, predominantly using 3D CGI animation tools within a virtual environment. Pre-vis enables filmmakers to explore visually creative ideas, spatial camera moves and camera lensing, plan technical solutions, and communicate a shared vision for efficient production.

This course encourages exploration of shot structure and three-dimensional spatial relationships while facilitating production timesaving and problem solving techniques. It would suit all those involved in visual media production, including CGI, Video and game cinematic filmmakers. Pre-visualisation will aid those who strive to tell stories in ever more compelling ways.
