Description

This course will provide an introduction to structured problem solving, algorithm development and programming using Matlab. Mathematical techniques such as differentiation, integration, special functions, statistical description of data, random numbers, sorting, curve fitting, function optimisation, Taylor series, and ordinary differential equations will be applied to problems drawn from a range of engineering disciplines.
