Description

Remote sensing provides a unique source of information on phenomena and objects on the earth surface, such as vegetation, rocks, oceans and man-made objects, and found its application in many different disciplines. This course will look at the most important, currently available techniques and sensors for earth observation. It will deal with the theory of spectral remote sensing and will develop basic skills in the application of digital image processing techniques. It will also include the fundamentals of hyperspectral, thermal and microwave remote sensing.
