Description

This course explores growing disparities in developing countries in terms of their access to the resources that determine their development potential. The ability of people, communities, governments to respond and adapt to pressures of globalisation and environmental change and secure access to these resources are key areas of focus.
Through case study examples, this course covers a range of topics including, but not restricted to, models of development, land-degradation, land-use reform, integrated conservation and development projects and community-based natural resource management.
