Description

Through the study of selected architectural precedents and of their spatial configuration, material and structural tectonics, the emphasis of this studio is placed on the meanings of a room in relation to use. Site conditions and material limits are introduced to the design process; the relations between interior and exterior are established according to an understanding of inhabitation, and a simple level of material and site resolution.

Pre-requisites: ARCH1101
