Description

While businesses are increasing their expenditure on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to keep abreast of competitors, the construction industry has become ICT laggard.
The level of ICT knowledge among construction professionals has been a major bottleneck in implementing ICT successfully. This course offsets the bottleneck and contributes to a successful implementation of ICT in construction. The course discusses such topics as information systems development, networking and communication technologies, project websites and e-tendering in construction.
