Description

The course will provide an overview of the legal and economic structure of modern business, management theory and practice, the production and analysis of financial statements and of enterprise risk management. The implications for actuaries in their statutory roles, and the opportunities for them to contribute in wider roles will be raised throughout.

The course will cover the requirements for the IAAust CT2 course and students gaining at least a credit assessment in the final examination will be recommended for exemption from the CT2 course. The course will build on materials covered in FINS1613, which is prerequisite.
