Description

Subject Area: Korean Studies

This Course provides an introductory level program in Korean language study from a communicative and task-based approach. The medium of instruction is Korean and English. Students continue to develop basic communicative skills in Korean through various speaking and writing activities. It introduces new communicative functions as well as a number of new Korean structures and vocabulary that are essential to basic communication in Korean. New vocabulary and grammatical structures are presented in the context of culturally relevant topics. The topics covered in the course include linving in Korea, family and personal information, buying goods, education, hobbies and pastimes, describing places, people, objects and feelings.
