Description

Subject Area: German Studies

Intermediate German A is an intermediate level German language course for students who have done the equivalent of 2 semesters of German language learning. Together with Intermediate German B it serves as the gateway to the intermediate sequence in German Studies for students who have the equivalent knowledge of Introductory German A and B. It also serves as the Second Year/First Semester course in the introductory sequence in German Studies. It consolidates and extends skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing German and provides an introduction to the reading of literary and other authentic texts in German.
